TERMS OF USE

Applicability

These terms and conditions apply between FERN Psykologi AB, org no 556824-0427, and the client/patient who registers as an account holder and books an appointment for Internet therapy on the website www.fernpsykologi.com.

Book an appointment

To book psychotherapy, support counselling or psychological counselling, click on the “book an appointment” tab or on one of the “book an appointment” buttons on the website. In the booking system, log in with your Mobile BankID and select the “Internet Therapy” service and the desired day and time in the calendar. You pay via the secure Stripe payment service using a credit or debit card. After your payment has been received, you will receive a receipt, an email and also an SMS with a link to the video call. When it’s time for the meeting, you can connect via the link to the video call on a computer or on your phone.

Conduct video meeting

The video meeting is conducted using Kry Connect, a secure, encrypted communication platform designed for healthcare meetings. All you need is a desktop or laptop computer or phone with a microphone, speakers and a camera that can film your face while you watch your screen. You also need to have a web browser installed. The service is built to work in the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. If you are using your phone, it needs to be a smartphone with either Android or iOS as the operating system.
You join the meeting via the link you received by email or SMS. Enter your name and the call will begin. For the first call, you will need to show a valid ID document in the same way as for other health care contacts.

Price

The current price for psychotherapy, support counselling and psychological counselling (Internet therapy) is the same and can be found on this website. These health services are exempt from VAT. If you are a corporate client and would like to book appointments for employees, please get in touch and your company can be invoiced.

Payment

Payment for Internet therapy is made at the time of booking, before the meeting. You pay via the Stripe payment service using a credit or debit card. After your payment has been received, you will receive a receipt. You cannot start a video meeting until payment has been received.
As a business customer you can pay by invoice to a bank giro, payment terms 30 days.

Cancellation and rescheduling of appointments

If you wish to cancel or rebook the booked time for psychotherapy, support counselling and psychological counselling (Internet therapy), you must do so at least 24 hours before the booked time starts. If you cancel or rebook later, you will be charged the full amount, even if you have not used your booked time.

If you cancel more than 24 hours before the booked time, a refund will be made promptly. You can cancel your booked appointment by clicking on the link at the bottom of your confirmation email. You will then receive a new confirmation email of your cancellation. In the case of a refund, it may take up to 10 days for the money to be returned to your credit or debit card.

To rebook, you must first cancel the booked time, at least 24 hours before, as instructed above. You then make a new booking on the website.
